Oh how we love Marc!

So over an online discussion of the Spring/Summer 2007 collections, which Dottie and I are really excited about, Dottie was proclaiming her love on dresses with pockets, and I was raving about Marc Jacobs.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs S/S 07 collection is a mix of puffy sleeves, gorgeous ankle-wrapped sandals, effortless hair, with pieces in shades of neutrals, greens, yellows and blues.

Every outfit can pass the strict dress codes Singapore has in the office, which is just great for me because I’m currently researching on office chic. The businesswear I’m seeing on people are just too drab to be true.

 

(Left) I love the red shoes, which will be repeatedly featured in various colors – look out for knockoffs turning up at your nearest shoe store as early as next month!

(Right) The dress is in a deliciously mint green shade, and I’m loving the ruffles! Most of this collection’s dresses are sleeved, its a nice turn from all the sleeveless ones we’ve been seeing.

(Left) Note the shoes, the shoes! This is my favourite office-ish outfit from Marc, because it looks so chic – the pieces are classics (A-line skirt and white shirt), but yet it exudes cool and class all at the same time.

(Right) Fantastic combination, just right for that Saturday movie date! In fact its right for just about anything.

(Left) Am loving the patchwork fabric of the dress, and I like how the whole outfit actually works even though it looks thrown together.

(Right) The purple skirt is screaming “Wear Me, Wear Me!” when I set my eyes on it.
