Substitute for Lanvin Flats
This week, I have used up a good portion of my daily lunch hour to hunt for the perfect black ballet flats. I was not hoping to find the quality of a pair of Lanvin Flats, but I just needed something comfortable and safe for work - not to mention very cute.
However - and this is the problem - there is no decent pair of ballet flats to be found. I have tried the hip Gripz, but they were sold out. Mitju, DMK, and other chain shoe stores simply do not make them the way I imagined it to be. I left feeling extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.
The ones in Topshop are going for SGD66, which is too steep - and they do not look durable enough for the price.
Does anyone know of a place with great ballet flats with or without a ribbon on top of each shoe that cost below SGD50? Pray tell!

saw a pair of leather structured (as in no elastic at the back like in ur pic) ones, no bow, at Tangs. Lovely and soft but slightly more than $50 I think. But they look really worth it. I’m thinking about them myself! hope this helps!

I’ve bought mine from Topshop, Wisma - they have satin flats going at SGD53 (but I got mine at 15% due to the midnight sales!)

I saw one that is exactly the same as topshop, not as comfy cos it is not made of leather. But comfy enough.
Far East Plaza - Trendy Zone. (the suede one) for $23.90 only (if i rmb correct)

Well I love those Lanvins and prior to getting my paws on them I looked everywhere for a substitute to kill my craving. Hard to find anything close or even remotely comfy but you might wana try Repetto, a lil’ pricier but very soft too. They have a huge range of colors and styles. Since you girls are in Paris, they have it at Printemps and Galaries Lafayette. And you can get the tax rebate
