One of my favouritest things to do for Fashion Nation is to write the Style Icons column. Imagine my disappointment when I trawled through celebrity pictures and still couldn’t find someone whose style I admired enough to feature for the previous two weeks.
But I’ve found her!
Meet Chloe Sevigny, indie queen like Zooey Deschanel (who was also featured on Fashion Nation’s Style Icons).
Chloe’s style borders on feminine yet classy, chic yet playful.
I love how she can make a single item stand out – such as red lipstick, or a floaty chiffon dress.
This translucent slip-on blouse fascinates me, and if I see it
on the racks I would snap it up immediately.
Lastly, I believe she was the first celebrity to put on these white Wayfarers. And this is the look upon which I will issue the seal of Style Icon to Chloe Sevigny, woman who pulled off retro white Wayfarers, one-piece red shorts/tube suit, and white ballet flats. Absolutely amazing.
