Good Old Canvas Footwear

One of the things that struck me the most about Hong Kong fashionistas is how they seem to rock the humble canvas sneakers so well.

Mostly, I think it much to do with how they have these sneakers in all colours and designs, which really set them apart from the boring white things we used to wear back in secondary school

When one thinks of canvas sneakers, Converse may very well be the fast name that comes to mind. I found these very lovely and interesting pairs on zappos.com.

And then I found these from Rocket Dog:

They’re not exactly sneakers, but I think that they are really cute for a girlier outfit And Skechers has these really crazy slips-ons!

And of course, for canvas footwear, Keds has been making the headlines, mostly for having Mischa Barton endorsing it.

These are so cute

I think colourful canvas shoes are a great way to look nice on a dress-down day. And they’re wonderfully comfortable to!

Not to mention, they’re a great way to re-live those days when we try to buy the ‘coolest’ white canvas shoes!
