Fashion Nation In The Papers!
Stephie is really quite excited about this, but since she’s not online yet i’ll post the scans up:
‘Three people rule this hotspot - Dorothy Tan, 23, currently doing honours in political science in the National University of Singapore, auditor Tan Wan Qing, 23, and Eng Shou Jie, 20, who is doing his National Service.
They go by the names of Dottie, Stephie and Tweeds.
Dottie and Stephie conceptualised the blog last year with the aim of “bridging local and international fashion”, says the latter. They roped in Tweeds this year for his extensive knowledge of menswear.
What makes Fashion Nation stand out is its expertise on men’s fashion. Tweeds’ menswear tips are a welcome change from the usual boring, pedestrian styles.’
Thanks to the ST Urban newspaper for featuring Fashion Nation! Without being too presumptuous, here’s also a hello and thanks to all the readers of Fashion Nation on behalf of the three of us, you all give us the drive to keep writing when we know that there’s somebody out there reading our stuff. I’m sure the other two will chime in on this as well, but we’ll keep trying to bring fresh insights from the wide world of fashion and design into our little blog.

Btw, some of your blogs on womenswear are very helpful. Was caught with my skirt down when I realised I had nothing new to wear to a church wedding tomorrow…hahaha…time to hit the shops tonight!

@Tweeds - lol…some of the best designers and stylists are men; nothing against my own gender though.
It’s always nice to have a guy’s perspective. Btw I didn’t need to hit the shops for a wedding outfit as I came up with something from my existing wardrobe. I have to say I surprised myself.
