Uniqlo Fall 07
Uniqlo’s pieces should be dropping in stores soon (I’m not sure, but I think the store displays are just going up in New York - no idea about here in Asia) and the first thing that strikes you about the lookbook, released a few weeks ago, is its great styling.
The pieces themselves look pretty basic but the styling really makes this collection stand out when put against APC, H&M, and other brands in the same cachet.
Often the trouble with such good work on the styling is that the pieces look pretty ordinary in stores. Let’s hope this collection doesn’t suffer overly from that problem.
Anyone who happens to be in the vicinity of a Uniqlo store, please report with your findings!

Well thats really true about these fashion trends… they tend to look very common and ordinary at the stores… But anyways, me eagerly waiting for it to hit the stores here in Asia… !

My preference for Uniqlo is also the basics–you can wear them as you like it, whereas these more complex pieces have to be cut and made exactly as they should fit. Which is then the problem because of Uniqlo’s low-cost brand positioning.
