Cindy from Finger Magic dropped us an e-mail to tell of about her new line of silver jeweller, Origami Bijou.
I hopped over to her site, and was duely impressed – apparantly, Cindy folds silver into origami (that Japanese art of paper-folding). Cindy explains that the silver she uses is super pilable and she simply fires them in the kiln to make the design stay.
Each origami design also possesses a specific symbolism.

This ‘Froggie Necklace” symbolises high achievement.

While this ‘Bunny Hop Necklace’ features the cute, forgiving and kind bunny which stands for new beginnings and super cuteness
Other than necklaces, Origami Bijou also carries earrings (with the origami designs in miniature – I wonder how Cindy manages to fold up such tiny pieces of silver!).
Currently, Finger Magic products can be found in design boutiques, art, school, and museum shops around the Singapore, although you can also shop online at their online shop

Where exactly could I find her products? Any art school in specific, or design boutiques?

Hi karishma – I think it’ll be best to email the artist directly for more info…
