In the Zone: Danish Ikea
Stephie and I have been dashing around all weekend to try to cover as much of Singapore Fashion Week as possible. Despite the more than fabulous clothes, private sale event at TopShop and an obscene amount of finger food (chocolate eclairs!) and bubbly, we’re exhausted.
It seems too much of anything is not that good for you - yes, even clothes and shoes and beautiful models. Oh god, I can’t believe I’m saying this!
To rid myself of fashion week fatigue, I took an evening off just to have dinner, read and walk around. I was at Raffles City when I came upon the newly opened Zone, a Danish home ware concept store much similar to its much bigger Swedish counterpart.
And they have very cute things.

It’s a domestic goddess haven!
There’s still much more - vases, printed napkins, towels, cookie jars, milk flasks. For all who likes to stroll in Ikea and pick up random (often impractical, but oh so cute) items, you will like the Zone as well.
You’ll like it very much ![]()

The Danish Zone are copycats.
