Dottie and I attended the Francis Cheong Haute Couture collection at the Singapore Fashion Week. I’m so glad I did, because we found ourselves staring at the most luxurious dresses!

This outfit, for example, had a lot of heads turning!

I enjoy his full length gowns most, loving the way it flows as you move in it. Simply looking at runway pictures may be enjoyable, but sitting there and actually observing how the clothes move makes you appreciate the designs so much more.

This dress is almost goddess-like!

Cheong’s creations were so creative that he could move from classic and elegant, to futuristic in a minute.

Like all awe-inspiring collections, I had more of those moments of “Oh what did I do to deserve to be sitting here?”
Attendance of Fashion Week is both liberating and very very enlightening. Yet at the same time, gazing at all these amazing creations, it made me feel very very small too, like an ant looking at the Egyptian pyramids.
Needless to say, the crowd was filled with socialites and celebrities alike. We didn’t have much time to mingle, though. We just sipped Moët and had an éclair each before trotting off to the next show, feeling really good about everything!
