A Dance of Goodness
There is something in the fluidity of the shots which tickles my fancy! I have been noticing a lot of dance themes in fashion, which is of course a given seeing that the two realms are intertwined by the freedom of expression they share.
Which leads me to my next announcement - Fashion Nation has caught wind of “Circle of Life”, a concert organised by Sylvia McCully’s School of Dancing, held on the 19th and 20th of December 2007. A fund-raising effort for the National Cancer Centre of Singapore, the concert started as a springboard to showcase young talent from the school, but evolved into a fundraiser of sorts.
As the Christmas decoration lights go up on Orchard Road, I guess it will soon be the time we all take stock of the year and celebrate the festivities with family. Why not use an evening, enjoy a ballet performance and at the same time help out those in need?
“Circle of Life” will be held on 19 and 20 December 2007 at 8pm, at the Victoria Theatre. To donate or sponsor a performance, or to purchase tickets, please contact Ms Chan 6457 6995 or 9354 3163. Tickets also available at Sylvia McCully School Of Dancing, #03-21 Thomson Plaza. Tickets priced at $15, $25, $35 and $50.
