Retro Moves

Before you start thinking about Mambo night and the podium mainstays that wave their lives away with the crazy hand signals, I’m actually talking about major moves of some vintage stores in Singapore.

First off, the lovely Dustbunny Vintage has shifted from their previous location to Temple Street. In fact, the exact address is: 15a Temple Street #02-01, which is somewhere in Chinatown. You can email or call for an appointment.

I spoke to the good people behind the treasure trove of Dustbunny Vintage when I bought the cutest frame bag for work (it remains a top favourite!), and one of the family described it as an “Aladdin’s cave” of amazing treasures. Ha! Hope that got you very interested in getting there as soon as possible.

Secondly, Déjà Vu Vintage has moved to new premises at #01-18 The Cathay (Picturehouse at Dhoby Ghaut). There’s a new menswear section with the increase in space at the new place, so be sure to bring down all the men folk when you shop as well!

Lastly, it had been several months since I’ve popped by The Heeren, but to my surprise I found a very improved Oppt Shop on Level 4. The place looks great, even the dressing room looks cute when I peeked in discreetly. If you’ve always been shopping there and going “whaaat?!” at my ignorance, bear with me since other Fashion Nation readers should be glad to find a new place to shop for vintage!

And with that I should rest my heart some and go do some docile activities. The onslaught of crazy exciting news is bad for my heart!
