Le Lovely Hosiery
I have been “clipping” images as I’ve been fashion blog surfing, but have yet to find an occasion to use all of the lovely, inspirational photos I have amassed. That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t share it with you, right?
Therefore, behold the barrage of inspirational pictures I have hoarded over this Fall/Winter season. I do realise they all feature:
(a) tights, which perhaps might just spell my subconcious obsession about all things sheer and stretchy!
(b) statement pieces like scarves, leather jackets, jumpsuits, cute hats! Anything out of the ordinary that doesn’t bore or look dated!

This amazing girl was spotted on Garance Doré. She has all the elements of fall: A great coat (in navy, the season’s best color seeing it reflects the uniform craze), a lovely, lovely scarf, fuss-free hair and makeup which is what Fall is all about. And fancy tights! Mmm! Best of all she even made the denim mini look good - I can’t say that for most Singaporeans!

A mention of fancy tights brings me to my next picture, of this lovely gradient Anntian tights mentioned on Fops and Dandies. The blue/yellow gradient looks delicious and not too heavy for spring, seeing that translucent, sheer legging things will be in as Karl Lagerfeld predicted.

These argyle patterned tights from Face Hunter (i think so, as I forgot to save the source - my bad) are fab fab fab as well, and of course I am still in search of that amazing leather jacket. I haven’t found it yet, but I do suspect that the current Mango sale which started officially on Thursday (but the Fashion Nation duo has obviously done some stealthy work and got our staples and seasonal wares on Weds) will still have loads of goodness to be had.

Isn’t this the cutest outfit captured by Oslostil? Great mix of grey and pink/purple hues, that cute crochet hat! I could never carry off that huge flower, but she did pretty well. Also loved the ratty tatty shoes, because I always like that bit of old in an outfit. Also she really did stand out from the rest of the shoppers behind her, don’t you think?
Right and I think we can aptly name this a “How do you wear tights” post. Ha!
