2008 Just Means We’re Older!
Hello hello and welcome to 2008. How did you spend your New Year? Here in Singapore, we were treated to fireworks at the stroke of midnight, and so I went fireworks-gazing. New Year’s Day for me meant waking up late, meeting some friends for tea, and perhaps going to a pageant to support my friend the participant.
My Style Resolutions this year:
1. Plan my outfits in advance so that I do not have the chance to throw on whatever I can reach in the last minute, which I used to have the tendency to do.
2. Be more sun-safe. I’m very prone to freckles and now that I am a year older, it just means I need more protection for my skin! Which means bigger hats (thank god wide-rimmed floppy hats are in right now!) and crazy sunscreen (not just on face but on neck and limbs too!). Plus a UV umbrella to shield me from direct contact with the sun!
I figure this is way better than paying hundreds for that SKII cream or Shiseido whitening lotion. (:
3. I intend to be perfectly groomed for 2008. Which means perfect makeup, lacquered nails, and a dogged determination to tame every strand of hair! It may not be a hundred percent possible but I will try try try! (:
4. And lastly, the all-encompassing resolution: Be a lady everywhere I go - not just the clothes, but the manners and posture as well.

Hello! I was just surfing around and found your site! anyway, a cool site you have here and great to know that you ladies are from Singapore too! Resolution never works for me, course it gets forgotten when the year reaches march, or maybe february! hahaha, but still I think I need sun screen like you….but I just look those sun-kissed skin like anyway Brazilian models! haha..

Great post! My style resolution for 2008 is to be more fearless in trying new styles or ideas, and definitely make sure I’m always 100% groomed too. This includes toenails, heh!
