Bianca Loves Shoes
On a warm, balmy Saturday afternoon, Stephie and I had an appointment to make - one that we were really looking forward to.
We were going to check out Bianca, a local shoe boutique which has recently moved from their old home at Far East Plaza to their new location on indie favourite Haji Lane (44 Haji Lane, Level 2 to be exact).
We’d always enjoyed shopping on Haji Lane, both for the local and alternative labels housed there, and the uniquely pretty interiors of many shops.
If interesting and welcoming decor is a signature characteristic of the Haji Lane shops, Bianca certainly deserves to have a space there. The boutique looks wonderful - luxurious with a boudoir charm, yet not in the least intimidating. In fact, it is like shopping in one’s fantasy bedroom, which is filled with neatly arranged beautiful shoes!
The shoes at Bianca are designed by their own team of designers, and each design comes in limited pairs so as to ensure their exclusivity. After all, there is nothing more embarrassing than bumping into someone else who is wearing the same things as you are
Each Bianca collection is also based on a particular theme, and such themes range from sexy and glamourous to dolly cute and urban chic. So there’s a pair of Bianca shoes for every girl - whether you lust after mile-high heels or prefer to be comfy in loafers.
And the best part? For such fabulous-looking shoes, they are almost unbelievably affordable.
To add rainbow sprinkles on top of the thick icing, Bianca is currently having an end of season sale before they launch their new collection in about a month’s time (we’ll definitely let you know when they do)!
Most of the shoes now range from between $29.90 to $59.90
But do run down to Bianca the first opportunity you get, because I have the feeling they will run out fast.
For those busy souls who do not have the time to check out Bianca personally, all is not lost
Their online store is well developed and easy to navigate (by collections). New shoes are just a click away.
Stephie and myself have the opportunity to try out a pair of Bianca shoes each! These are what we’ve gotten:

A casual pair of purple flats to jazz up boring outfits for Stephie…

and a cute pair of work-safe red heels for Dottie!
We’ve broken them in over the weekend and they have proven to be really comfortable - also showed them to our friends who are clamouring for some chinese new year shoe-shopping.
Of course, all true shoe lovers will endure the pain that sometimes comes with beautiful footwear (Carrie Bradshaw: These shoes are killing me, but I LOVE them.), but shoes we can wear without wincing are a real gem!
In addition to their existing collections of shoes, they will be bringing in their own line of accessories, as well as housing accessories by local designers in about a month’s time, so stay tune for that as well
Fabulously pretty, comfortable and affordable, we’ll definitely be shoe-shopping at Bianca a lot in the days to come!
xoxo,
Dottie the Shoepaholic
P.S. Thanks to Melissa, and the readers who left comments about the broken link - Sorry about that but it’s been fixed. Happy shoe shopping!

wondering…are these shoes of mondo quality but more high street design?

haji lane is love! thanks for the recommendation!

I wouldn’t say they are ‘mondo quality’ but I have not bought Mondo shoes before. What I dare say is that I saw several pairs that I would buy as compared to the normal Far East or Bugis shops which sell shoes.
