Dear Old Me…

How was your weekend?

Mine was filled with slow sips of cappuccino, a long game of Scrabble, marathon of streaming korean drama clips, purchases of coloured tights, and ogling at pretty lace-ups in shop windows! On top of that, intermittent upheavals of photos due to our unfortunate bandwidth problem.

I’ve gotten down to saving half of the images, but for the other half we will just have to rely on short bursts of energy throughout the weekdays. Please bear with us!

Meanwhile, Fashion Nation continues - hot and heavy with the posts!

I have been stalking this amazing French blog, garance doré, for the longest time. I have no idea what she is writing about in French, but from her illustrations, it has to be her encounters around Paris with super chic fashionistas. Sometimes when the occasion calls for it, I make use of the Google Translator to read her writing, but mostly I just stare wistfully at her great drawings.

She also has her way with photography - check out how amazing her subjects look with the reddest lips! I have a Chanel Rouge lipstick which I ought to put to use more often, and this certainly is inspiration enough for me.

Speaking of which, have you girls explored the open/close device of the Chanel lipstick? Dottie and I are sold on the packaging so much that we both have several shades of the range. It is pure love, I tell ya! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, rush to the Chanel counter and play with the lipstick that looks like the one pictured above!
