Furla Spring/Summer 2008 Collection

It is with great pleasure that I’m writing about Furla’s Spring/Summer 2008 Collection. The Fashion Nation team is privileged to have been invited to the preview for the collection, with a great turnout from bankers, fashion editors and celebrities.

The bags in this collection range from exotic leather to pastel and lush palettes. It’s a great time to have been exposed to this range, because I’ve been thinking about getting a somewhat different bag, but yet it has to be understated enough for work. We’ve spotted several bags we’re dying to have!

Let’s talk about the bags first - this orange ostrich bag in particular made me sort of squeal with happiness. Its quite odd to look at if you are not accustomed to it, but think of how it will pop with blacks and browns! I’d pair it with a crazy floral dress to chase the workday blues away.

This is another bag I really like, look at how soft it looks! I like how it isn’t everywhere like the monogrammed bags we’re so used to seeing, but yet so appealing with the quality of the materials with which they are made.

Other than having spotted cute bags which immediately translated into lust at first sight, we were also impressed with how tasteful everything looked - from the band to the range of food (from Japanese to Italian) to the amazing dessert section. Held at the Arts House, it was great to get to on a weekday, and a great atmosphere for mingling.

(Great thanks to E-3, Samuel and Lionnel!)
