Crazy, But Not So Crazy
When the Face Hunter decided to skip New York Fashion Week (not a bad choice, considering this season was rather lackluster) and stay on up north in Scandinavia, we knew that the photos will be pretty fantastic.
And we aren’t disappointed!
Among all the wonderful photos, this one stood out, for its seeming absurdity. Yet, it works brilliantly:

Now I will be hunting all over for those polka-dotted stockings. They remind me of what I used to wear when I was really small. My mum refused to let me wear those lacey ankle socks, so I’m always wearing white stockings, sometimes with prints.
The extreme rotund-ness of the outfit reminds me of somewhat of the Arne Jacobsen egg chair:

I love the girl’s shoes and mad coat- and I agree, Copenhagen was MUCH better to look at than NY as far as collections went, too- except for the odd standout like Rodarte, New York really bored me.

Rodarte and Y-3, in fact- for some reason I love Y3.

Oh New York was so bad for me… I can’t even bear to think of it… London is quirky but I hope this season it has great outfits for inspiration!

Hi Drusilla
I know that usually New York is not known to be the most innovative fashion week, but still, this season was particularly blah.
Let’s hope for better things… can’t wait for Paris!

I bought my tights from Leona Edimston in Sydney last season:
