F/W08: Miu Miu
Miu Miu went really off this season - of all things, sportswear?! Granted, every weekend I am a possessed woman, going over and over in my head on what I can wear to the golf course this week. I’ve just taken up the sport, and really it is a major pain in the arse trying to fashion some creativity into an activity which is restricted to polo teeshirts and knee-length shorts.
However, putting girls who look like pre-pubescent boys in jockey gear paired with heels really needs some digestion from me. The initials on each outfit stands for the model’s own name - while it is a cute surprise, for me it just spelt gimmicky after some time.
However, the novelty is definitely intact and rather than going ‘Oy! What’s going on?!’, I am contemplating the above two outfits and thinking of the possibilities it may just work on the golf course, followed by a nice lunch in town.
However, shoes were of an entirely different story altogether:
Once again, I heave a sigh on how I will comb the stores for shoes like these, and find substandard heels which look like a sore nail in my vision. Nevertheless my hunt for shoes like these continues and I soldier on in gems of heels I have already paid for.

i took to wearing tennis skirts while practising on the driving range. the length is just right, and the pleats on tennis skirts give enough “swoosh” factor when i practise my swings! maybe you could opt for some mid-thigh ones, as opposed to the tiny ones we see on tennis superstars. (:

oh yea.. e shoes are gorgeous! im quite sure the Miu Miu stores (in spore) would have them… soon
