I think I Love Koops

A local favourite store of ours, Soon Lee, has pointed us in the direction of Koops. From their very informative post, we gathered that the man behind Koops, Keith Png, was the former chief designer of well-known label I.S and defunct label Mizu.

Interest piqued? Definitely. I popped over for a quick look and discovered to my surprise these amazing dresses:

The above shoot is for a Malaysian label, Vincci, which I like to think of fondly as a haven filled with great and affordable shoes.

Of course, nothing is as delicious as feasting your eyes on great dresses paired with fabulous shoes, and that certainly is the case for this shoot! The dresses are fabulous and I love how they retain their silhouette even when the models are slouched all over the couch.

Taiwanese supermodel/host Lin Chiling pulls off this chic pink dress. I adore the waist-detailing on the dress, which is an additional pop of colour. As previously addressed, perhaps going pink this way from head to toe (with gorgeous pink, splashed with lace heels) will be a good way to venture into the same-color outfit trend.

For those who hail from the left side of the world map, I have no idea how to explain the hype of the semi-goddess pictured above in the pink dress. Other than her height and lank, it has to be noted that she is considered to be a landmark of beauty by some in the Mandarin-speaking society. I think she’s just a great model. Personally, I just have slight issues with her snatching/dating one of the hottest male stars in Taiwan.

The above two pictures hits closer to home, and highlights two of the high flyers in Singapore’s local drama scene. Fann Wong (picture perfect in a lovely off-white drapey dress) has to be my #1 favourite on Caldecott Hill, for all her coquettish ways, flawless skin and ever-youthful looks. Here’s the purple dress Fann’s pictured in the first picture:

I’m turning into a fan-girl for Keith Png’s designs, and also extremely delighted to be able to reflect a little part of Singapore’s entertainment scene to you because pictures of Singaporean celebs dressed in interesting togs are rather difficult to come by.

(Note: All pictures from Keith Png’s blog)

Attracted to great dresses like bee to honey
