HE by Mango
I’ve been hearing about this since January, but it’s finally hitting our island. Mango’s menswear collection, HE by Mango will be available in stores. Its slated to be in stores today - I’m hazy on the location but I trust the flagship store along Scotts Road will carry this.
HE stands for Homini Emerito, which is Latin for ‘man who enjoys a reward because of it’s merits’. I didn’t quite get that feeling from the collection, which is made up of 46 pieces including T-shirts, waistcoats, trousers, jeans, swimwear, footwear and accessories. It’s very much comfort wear.
However, comfort wear is just the sort of clothing category that Singaporean males love (i.e. most can’t be arsed to dress up at all…) so I would assume they’ve hit the right market!
