Continuous late coverage here on Fashion Nation on Japan Fashion Week – I’m surprised so few bloggers are covering this. Let’s see what I like from Ritsuko Shirahama’s collection:

Structural skirt, mini-bowed cape. Love the textural contrasts which includes the flow of the fabric, diagonals from the cape, swirls from the skirt, topped off with reflective texture of top and polka-dotted stockings. The outfit looks simple enough but the details are enough to stun me into silence.

Again, cool colour contrasted with a deep pink feathered (at least I think so) skirt… plus cute shoes! The veil mostly intrigues me, and about right now a warning thought bubble’s going ‘No! Stephie! No Veil in Singapore!’…

Not so persuaded by the fur, but I am very captivated by the layers on the dress. It looks like something you can get off Far East Plaza, so I am quite surprised that I like it as much as I do as I gaze upon this picture…

The clothes are great, but what I really love is the runway – the layers of different colour petals are fantastic! Beats the live rats that Tsubi had a few years ago for one of their Australian shows…!

Hi Amy – I never did realise that ’til you’ve mentioned it! (:
