Late Night Fashion Shows for Nocturnal Fashionistas

Stephie made me laughed last night when she forgot that there would be two shows instead of one – first Alldressedup and then Francis Cheong. With the entire week being such a whirlwind, and on top of our day jobs, you can hardly blame us for getting our schedules mixed up a little :)

Both of us were really looking forward to the Francis Cheong show (as Stephie has mentioned in the last post), and were really glad to have gotten seats when there was such an overwhelming turnout – there was a considerable number of people who had to stand! Poor things.

In between the two shows, we found time to snap outfit photos :)

I’m really bad at taking outfit photos because I tend to feel self-conscious, so I usually look away from the camera and not smile. It is strange because I’m normally really enthusiastic about photo taking – Stephie, my friends and I are crazy shutterbugs – we take endless pictures! I like the above picture because I’m laughing :) Quite a rare occurrence for my outfit photos.

You can’t see it over clearly, but the dress is actually crochet :) I also love the pockets – other than being really cute, they also give me a place to put my hands when I don’t know what to do with them!

Dress: Review from Australia
Cardigan (with faux fur collar): Mango
Shoes: Substance
Bag: Sachi from Australia (thrifted)

We nicknamed the all black ensemble the Press Uniform because so many member of the press come to shows in all black :) Very chic, and you can never go wrong, so what’s there not to like. At a previous show, I wore the Press Uniform (we didn’t take outfit photos that day), and last night was Stephie’s turn to give it a go!

There’s so many things I like about her outfit: the sheer blouse with the pussy bow (sheer, bows = love), the clean shape of the skirt and the unexpected flash of gold in her hair.

Top: Forever21
Skirt: Mango
Bag: Chanel 2.55
Shoes: Charles & Keith

xoxo,
Dottie
