A reader, raq, requested for pictorial evidence of my haul from Swirl Swap Swop yesterday. Upon speaking to the Swirl Girls yesterday, I discovered that all the bags I grabbed were theirs. Let’s see now!

One large day clutch, good as new. Perfect for a quick lunch out or one of those emergency ‘let’s meet in fifteen minutes!’ appointments. I am in the mood for Spring and am imagining all things floral to be paired with bags, this included.

This stuck out like a sore thumb from the pile of clothes… crazy clash of colors and all that felt pieces stitched together gives me a strange sense of elation. It reminds me of an art project end-result! Does not quite count as ‘WTF’ category but definitely goes to the ‘Quirky Bags’ section of my collection.

This is some kind of strange crocheted butterfly bag. Why did I grab it? Don’t know! Do I like it? Most definitely. In fact, the fact that it’s slightly worn out endears me even more to it… Will definitely pair it with faded, washed out denim and heart-shaped sunglasses or wayfarers.

Ratty old pullover which I took more for outerwear purposes overseas. Upon closer inspection, I went ‘mmmmm!’ at the details. Knitted, woven sleeves and pockets opposed to linear details of the front, I see rainy afternoons with a stack of magazines, a glass of red wine, with this thrown over a summer, floral dress. Somehow shapeless but I’ll try it out soon.

Polka dotted skirt, adopted from the Swirl owners – grabbed it with ideas of pairing it with huge belt and a grey T-shirt with a black, fitted blazer over it for work.

Tie-dyed full skirt! It must have looked very drab since I picked this up right at the end of the swap together with the ratty pullover, but sometimes it is these leftovers which gives me the most satisfaction. With all that wave of DIY tie-dyes, you will not see me dipping my hands in dye since I am crazily bad at art application, but this will do for a day when I feel like throwing on something inspired by Agathe and her tie-dye dress.
Did anyone of you attend the swop as well? Do share the gems of your loot! (:
rainbows of joy for new wardrobe additions
Stephie

I got the orange version of the polka dots skirt you got!
I didn’t see the first & second bag! Only the third. Anw, the second bag is really unique! I think it can brighten up any dull outfit!

I think the clutch is a score, kinda unique if you ask me. Nice! And for a second, i thought the 2nd bag was a kid’s toy steering wheel. Very cute tho, i would have bagged it as well if i were you.
