Chloe Sevigny is one of those characters who seems to be eternally stylish. For want of a better, less cliche-d expression, she’s one of those enormously lucky people with the X factor.
After watching her in Dogville, we love her more, this time for her other dimension as an indie actress.
I should think that she’ll be among the most wanted faces for commercial branding. After all, there’s nothing like a cult personality to bring in that something extra to an ad campaign.
It takes a certain something to rock the good ol’ tee, and Uniqlo has put Chloe to the test by having her front their line of limited edition tees (together with Japanese actor Tadanobu Asano). The duo were given free rein to express what they feel about the tees, and portray the emotions or characters they bring to mind.

I think that everyone have their t-shirt days (because I sure as hell do!), where you’ll want to sloth around in a ratty old tee and a denim something. You might as well be in something cute while you’re at it.
Hmm… I think the best thing about having Sevigny model these tees is that she doesn’t look like an impostor. She looks as utterly comfortable in these as in a red carpet worthy dress.
She looks like she actually wears t-shirts on a regular basis – and not afraid to let the world know that. After all, t-shirts are the most democratic piece of clothing there is
T-shirts are our friends,

Such a great post and it couldn’t ring more true – no matter what you wear when you leave the house, as long as you act like you can pull it off, it’ll work! I once saw Chloe at the Melrose Trading Post flea market and followed her (not in a creepy way) from a distance, just so I could see which pieces she would admire.

Why are T-shirts the most democratic item of wear? Why not… shoes? Why? Why Why Why? (:
