Uniqlo Again

Somehow we’d been writing so much about Uniqlo nowadays – there’s risk of an over-hype, but we shall see how they fare locally when they finally make their way to our lovely shores :)

The latest hoo-ha is the launch of the Alexander Wang capsule collection for the Basics Paradise.

I’ll love to wear all the dresses above, but especially those in black – the one with the dropped waist and the one with the ‘loopy’ pockets.

The increasingly lazy me relish the easy chic of these pieces. Effectively, its throw them on and you’re good to go! Needless to say, I’m acquiring quite a number of such dresses…

And yet, I still seem to have not enough! More, more please! :)

  • heh, i dunno if i’ve mentioned that i like both of your sign-offs, but yea! they’re kinda funny haha. will these be out in the uniqlo stores soon? i’m going to hk mid may, i hope to see some good stuff there :D oh and i like how they’re all paired with sneakers. so easy-lazy (:

  • First of all, I love your site .. mwuahs!

I went to Japan last year and my friend took me to UniQlo and I love that store, cause it was more affordable than most of the Japanese stores. They have good clothing as well. I love their basic clothing cause you can wear them with almost everything/anything.

Thanks for the inside on Alexander Wang, I have never heard of him.. but his details on those dresses are pretty cute (the pockets) and mini puffs on the skirts. Love it!

    take cares.. mwuahs

  • I like how comfortable and loose everything looks, but also chic and just the right amount of structure to keep me feeling “pulled together.”

  • I love Uniqlo and AlexWang, and their collaboration means affordable clothing!

Loved every single one featured in the post. Now I’m just praying that Uniqlo will bring in a decent selection of wear to Singapore, and not just jeans and tees.

  • Not to be sinister here, but as all chain stores in Singapore go, they only bring in limited range to Singapore partly due to climate reasons and partly due to conservative dressing; I wouldn’t be surprised if a small, if not very limited collection will arrive here, as with the soon-to-arrive h&m.

  • Y: Yah! I’m so afraid of that happening, or that they will jack up the prices.

  • Hi Guys :)

Yah, I have the same concern about the pieces they will be bringing in and the hiked up prices (for both H&M and Uniqlo). But I figure that if the prices are not what I’m used to, then I’ll simply stock up when I go on vacation :) On the other hand, having them here closer to hand is still nice.

  • Thanks for the heads up about Alexander Wang. Will keep my eye out. Regarding the jacked-up prices, I think that is to be expected.
