WOW! 100 Wine Tasting Coupons!
Yesterday, my friends and I trooped down to the Botanical Gardens for the World of Wines (WOW) wine-tasting event. There were 50 different wines from all over the world to be tried. Being the wine fiends that we are, this was pretty exciting news.
We had to purchase coupons (1 coupon for 1 tasting), and they came in booklets of 50. There were five of us, and we bought two booklets. When I (always the voice of reason) expressed that this may be a little too much, I was simply ignored. Oh well.
So we ended up with 100 wine-tasting coupons among us, so it wasn’t really surprising that an hour later, we were frantically calling for back-up to help finish up
Still, it was a super fun afternoon and having a little too much to drink while the sun is up is always not that bad a thing.
The humidity has been a killer recently (which explains why I look a little shiny in the pictures), so I wore my new sleeveless, drop-waist mini-dress.

I don’t have anything else that is lavender in my wardrobe, so this is a nice addition colour-wise. Also, I love the simple shape and the cute pleat detailings. I have a feeling that I’ll be wearing this quite often
Dress: Tian (local label)
Leggings: TopShop
Shoes: Alegra
Bag: Sachi, Australia (thrifted)
Hopefully you’ve had a wonderful weekend too!
Cheers (with wine of course),
Dottie

Hi!
Thanks guys, for the lovely words
raq: Alegra is at the Arcade at Raffles Place - opposite Hans. You’ll find it quite easily.
Drusilla: Oh god, you have to be kidding! My hair is actually at its in-between, over-grown state, so I’m quite frustrated with it. Will have to cut it soon
