Trying to access the Internet when one is on the road is a great challenge - not only is it often costly, it is of course much preferable to spend one’s precious vacation time frolicking outdoors than indoors with a laptop.

That’s why Stephie has hastily uploaded some photos and left me to post them up, while she is most likely drinking beer in front of the Reichstag in Berlin I am green, green, green with envy! But that aside, here’s some photos for those of us who are stuck here:

Here is Stephie (at Heathrow I think), sans make-up and contact lens. After all, comfort is the top priority when on the plane. A roomy dress, a cardi (for warmth) and red high-tops to spruce things up a little is quite enough

In front of the Berlin Cathedral. I approve of the sensible (but cute) flats! I can never imagine walking the miles we are wont to cover when traveling in heels, no matter how fabulous they are. I love the scarf and waist-coat too.

And how can you be in Berlin and not have some currywursts? Although they are just basically some bratwursts with curry powder…

I’d already told Stephie to drink enough beer for all of us. Ah, isn’t this the life. Sometimes I feel like the only think I want to do for the rest of my life is to laze around on grass patches and drink endless bottles of beer (and German beer is the very best!). How I miss doing that!
