I first started reading Karen Cheng via a girlfriend’s blogroll. While hers is not strictly a fashion blog (which dominates my Google Reader), I enjoy reading her honest, down-to-earth musings about her life as a young stay-home mum of two in Perth.
And quite frankly, she’s the kind of mother that many girls secretly and not-so-secretly want to be some day – fun, beautiful, stylish and so full of joy for what life has to offer.
When Karen sent us an email to invite us to participate in her new Facebook Group, aptly named Doing the Karen Cheng, we are more than willing to oblige 
In a nutshell, Doing the Karen Cheng simply means taking an outfit photo the way Karen usually does it – with a mirror and a signature head tilt! For those of us without the benefit of a personal photographer (i.e. boyfriend/husband/partner-in-blogging), the mirror is our best friend where outfit photos are concerned. And Karen’s Facebook Group simply seek to bring all of such pictures under one URL.
Over a short few days, there are now almost 600 members!

If you are have already been (unknowingly) doing the Karen Cheng, don’t keep those photos to yourself – share them on Karen’s Facebook Group!

And I feel the quality and designs are getting better.

Joyce: I got them from C&K sometime last week. I’d seen them at two separate shops, so look again! I think they come in black and nude too if I’m not wrong.
Dee: Haha, those pearls in bed are really cool! I got mine from a bazaar at 2 bucks. Real bargain considering I wear them with everything.

Ellen: I don’t do much on Facebook actually. All those applications sort of freaks me out. But I thought having a FN Facebook profile is a fun idea
I agree with you sentiments regarding C&K (and I think I know which pair you bought!) – they literally my shoes quick fix since I hardly need to think before I buy something from there! Still, that’s dangerous too
