The Rabbiteur

I came across The Rabbiteur last week when one of our readers, salad, pointed their shoes out to us – when I saw the shoes they were selling I didn’t think I could not blog about them. Best of all, these are the creations of a Singaporean designer, so I really couldn’t be happier to write about them.

Each design seems to have its own story, revolving around a girl and her own ideas. I would imagine this candy-colored pair to describe a girl who’s striding around the world to her own beat, oblivious to the narrow-minded pettiness she may encounter and finding happiness in little things.

This pair is fit for a mermaid princess, as depicted on the shoes. Graceful and humble, she’s probably what the artist interprets the Little Mermaid to be.

And this flaming-haired lady has to be a haughty aristocrat, nose in the air, and constantly living in luxury with her golden dresses and pink tresses!

This last girl seems lonely to me, her hair blowing in the wind, lost in thought as she walks home in the snow.

Now if only I can break out of my crazy spending habits, I may be able to procure a pair of these to put on display. These are definitely too precious to be worn!
