The blogosphere has a tendency to elevate certain items to the top of everyone’s lust lists. These Marni wedges are an excellent example. Rumi and Camille both totally rocked them, in very different ways of course

I usually do not go for wedges, and only owe about a couple of pairs of them, because they feel a little too chunky for me and I can be incredibly klutzy. So it is surprising how I really like these Marnis, considering how thick the wedge heel is.
A few days ago, I was walking past Charles and Keith and was totally thrilled to see these Marni lookalikes!

These came in light grey as well, but I just couldn’t resist the bright, cheery orange
Eleh of Come Thrifting with Me got a pair from her very thoughtful boyfriend as well. I wish my boyfriend will surprise me with shoes as well!
Chomping around on wedges,
Dottie

mmm i’ve been avoiding wedges, cos they don’t d much for chunky calves… i like it from the front, but i really don’t like it from the side. i feel like i look like i’m dragging a door stopper on my soles ):
sometimes i wish i was one of those who could pull off every different trend and look!

The orange is lovely on those shoes and they’re far more do-able than the Marni ones walking-wise…

Wedges are the first love of my heart! I really don’t like stilettos, but wedges ARE love. Must find some Marni look alikes for myself stat!

You’ve got a great pair there! The Marni ones look fab but are a total b***h to walk in I’ve tried.

while gray might be more practical for fall, your bright ones are far more fun (not to mention, the perfect complement to this summer’s white dresses).

Wow. People have boyfriends who buy them shoes? How bizarre. Those are delightful. Great find!

I was just waxing lyrical about wedges. I’m usually not fond of them, I think they’re clunky! But I got a pair of rockin espadrilles that I’m absolutely in love with!
And your wedges are fab! I wish C&K stocked shoes for yeti-sized feet. =(

Wedges look chunky, but I couldn’t help but go out and buy them in the form of espadrilles a summer or two ago

Argh I wish my boyfriend would buy me shoes! I saw this gorgeous pair of fierce shoes at Aldo today, $195, and told him (in other words hinted), but all he said was, “Save up for it!”
Seeing all your fierce shoes really makes me want to go get those fab ones from Aldo!

Hi guys,
I’m terribly at answering comments
Apologies!
Anyway, just an update about these shoes. I’d been wearing them quite a bit these last few days.
I think they are really quite comfy, just that you must take care not to drag your feet or else you’ll trip. Also, they don’t really make my calves look chunky.. I hope! So you just have to try it for yourself since the effect varies for different people.
