Stephie and I trooped down to town for food and some. We were trying to catch the last of the GSS – the 70% off signs are hard to resist and we were hoping fervently that there will still be things worth having left.
Stephie did get a couple of pretty dresses from TopShop 
But as usual, somehow I can’t seem to find anything there I’m willing to put money down for.
I did find some very delectable shoes which I’d been thinking non-stop about since. Which makes me feel like a freak cos I keep buying shoes! Still I think most of you can relate 
I got this dress from H&M (Stuttgart) last year at a ridiculously low price (it was on sale) – and I’d been wearing it to death. It’s an effortless dress and I love the retro-ish print 
Coincidentally, it also happens to be 100% work safe.
When I saw Stephie’s new shoes from C&K, I was so excited. Double-strapped sling-backs Mary Janes! I was seriously contemplating getting them too before I chanced upon those delectable shoes I’d mentioned earlier. Now I’d only have room in my mind for those…

i notice stephie and you have pretty different styles! is it because of different working environments? dottie somehow your outfits seem more casual and easy
i can’t imagine slogging it out in the workforce without cool stuff to wear! in like… two years!

I wear singlets and boxers all day! Aren’t i terrible? That aside, Dottie: This shirt dress has sucha great print, i would have bought it too man. And Stephie, once again, making C&K heels look really really good. I wouldn’t have guessed.

Just an advice for your pics: your photographer should bend down to take the picture: you’ll look taller and slender. It’s greater to see someone from underneath than to look over.

that h&m dress is such a steal. it looks like a DVF and while still being office appropriate, doesn’t lose its character. the little jolts of color are really fun!

Hi jo – I guess the trick is to work within your company’s dresscode. It helps that you still have a couple of years to build up your formal wardrobe, so I suggest to grab blazers and pieces during sale (sensible pieces which will not go outdated…)

I can’t wait til I find work just so I have more of a reason to dress up – NOT that I need a reason, but I guess sometimes its just easier when you have somewhere to go and people to see! Still, if you ever bored…come see what I wear – would be nice for some feedback.
