The Pen

Say hello to the Olympus-Pen (:

It was released in 1959 as a budget camera that is as portable as a pen. Affordable & portable, it was basically preferred by consumers and as a secondary camera for professional photographers.

As expected of brands, Olympus went back to its archives, revamped what works and upgraded it with the latest digital technology. With all the works, we now get the Olympus Pen E-P1, which in my opinion does not quite so much retain the old-school aspects of its ancestor:

It’s a bit too shiny for my liking BUT that said, it’s a nifty digital camera with interchangeable lens that’s definitely definitely smaller than my Canon Powershot. I bet it’ll fit better in any of my purses too.

It’s not girly girly so no studding this with Swarovski Crystals please, I will look down on you if you do!

That’s not it for the Pen: Olympus seriously did something right for this campaign. For the Olympus Pen 50th anniversary, they produced a stop motion film which is kinda sweet and geeky, you know.

If that is not enough, they majorly zhng the stop motion idea and milked it dry and made it creative and came up with this:

How not to like it?!

Oh also I have to sort of exclaim about video embedding on blogs:

I used to seriously feel bored and with my internet obsession comes super short attention span, so I hate to wait for videos to load.

However, I can no longer do that now because I realise videos are so much better to watch! That’s why I’ve taken to sharing videos too, so give the videos we post a chance and load them to better understand what we’re raving about. (; Or if you just heck care about them, that’s seriously cool too. Like whatever! It’s the weekend!
