Hello. I’m alive and kicking!
I’d wanted to take a break and suddenly I haven’t written anything in close to 2 weeks! Rest assured that I’m being viciously assaulted by Bloggers’ Guilt [i.e. a larger-than-life, as yet undocumented psychological condition that all bloggers face sporadically through out their blogging careers] right about now.
I wish that I can tell you that it was a great existentialist crisis that prompted me to take off like this, but its nothing grand like that. I just got really tired and uninspired and desperately need to do something other than yak about fashion. Not that its a bad thing but you can have too much of a good thing!
Besides, I figure that I’ll have to jump back into action once Stephie leaves for Japan, so this is a good time to catch my breath
So, what have I been doing?

First off, I’d been getting re-acquainted with my Twitter account. Feeling overwhelmed by social media makes me feel old so I’m determined to conquer Twitter! I’d also realised that tweeting is a lot easier than blogging; its almost like an after thought. So add me
I need more TwitFriends!

I’d also been reading quite a bit. Its such a luxury nowadays and it does me a lot of good to just sit there for a couple of hours and flip pages. I picked up The Book Thief for $5 at Borders and I found that its the best bargain of a book I’d gotten in years. You would think that yet another book set in Nazi Germany will be a huge cliche, but its not. You really should read it.
And as you should already know, we’ll be involved in the TANGS Bloggerthon. I think it’ll be a very surreal goldfish experience! We really hope to see you there, so if you do pop by, please wave. We’ll wave back
Will be back sooner than you can say “hiatus”!
Dottie

Hi Joanne, it was a real bargain! Next time, check out Borders’ bargain pile – good things are sometimes hidden there
